You may wish to interview all candidates, or a sub-set of candidates, on a vacancy certificate in USA Staffing. Follow the steps below to export candidate information directly from USA Staffing that can then be uploaded to USA Hire Interview.
Create Stored List
A stored list must be created to export candidate information from USA Staffing. To create a stored list, follow the instructions found on the Creating a stored list help page.
Export Candidate Data
Once your stored list is created, follow the instructions found on the Exporting applicant data to an Excel file help page. When you reach step 6, select “email address” as data to include.
Reformat Export
Candidates may be uploaded to USA Hire Interview through a specific CSV file format. Reformat the exported candidate data from USA Staffing to match this file format. The following information is required for each candidate:
- Org Candidate Id: This ID field may be used to identify duplicate candidate records associated with a single interview template. Unless otherwise directly during implementation, input the candidate’s email address into this column.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Cell Phone: This column should be left blank.
The CSV file must include the following columns and column headers in this order:
| Org Candidate Id | First Name | Last Name | Cell Phone | |
| JohnSmith@gmail.com | John | Smith | JohnSmith@gmail.com |
A sample candidate upload file can be found on the "Candidate Upload" page on the USA Hire Interview platform. Additional instructions for uploading candidates can be found here for live interviews and here for on-demand interviews.
